Eating good food has always been one of my favourite things to do...however, my gut hasn't always been in agreement! For the past two decades, I'd grown accustomed to living with the daily bloat, debilitating cramps and all other manners of digestive discomfort.

After numerous appointments and investigations, and the rather unhelpful "label" of IBS, I realised that the overworked healthcare system wasn't in a position to offer any meaningful support ... plus a lot of the advice seemed rather outdated and generally dismissive of the condition.

As my symptoms worsened, alongside a diagnosis of hypothyroidism, I realised I needed to take control of my own health. I spent many hours researching and learning all I could about the microbiome, inflammation, autoimmunity and epigenetics; how nature and nuture interact and subsequently, influence our health. Applying this knowledge to my own situation, I began to see improvements in my digestive health as well as my overall wellbeing.

Alongside the realisation that I wanted to be in a position to help others, I decided to take my passion and learning to the next level and spent the next two years training to become a Nutritional Therapist. I am particularly interested in identifying root causes and addressing the complex issues found in women’s health. Now in my mid forties, I have first hand experience and understanding of the challenges faced during this transformative time.

I love learning and hate to be bored so when I’m not helping clients you’ll usually find me researching the latest trends, reading articles, or catching up on a podcast.

My aim is to provide my clients with personalised, evidence-based strategies to ensure that their quality of life and overall wellbeing is the best it can be. We only have one life and I want you to make the most of it!
